after not having lunch today because he refused to put his brand new car away, when he saw me setting the table for dinner tonight David ran to me calling Me Me Me, and showed me his car. then he took it and put it on the shelf. Emma gave me the only thing she had in her hand, her comb and they both plopped into their seats. no fuss, no muss, no toys. so even though they do tax you terribly, they do the most adorable things too.
David said his name today. he likes calling out Me Me Me and i usually respond back Chieu Chieu Chieu. so today i said David Chieu, then just David and he repeated it back, twice! such a smart boy. he really is. he's the sensitive, smart, introspective type. whereas Emma is a bit of the goofball, athletic, comedic type that hates to have her hands or eating area dirty. so she's a non girlie girl tom boy. a perfect mix. and they are the cutest together. really adorable.
